Perspective represents an architectural framework. In technical drawing, perspective drawings are frequently used to display an object on a 2D page in 3D. Perspective sketches display an object in the distance being smaller in 3D.
Single-point viewpoint – This realistically illustrates an object from the front as it becomes smaller going into the distance. The front view goes back into a vanishing point, which is a point where all lines converge on the horizon line. Interior designers often use a single-point perspective to display a view of a room, while architects often use a two-point perspective to illustrate practical building ideas.
What distinguishes architectural perspective drawing from others is that it is the most realistic technique. The human eye perceives the world in three dimensions. Variables such as where we stand, our height, and our angle change our landscape. A designer should present his projects to people as they would be perceived in life. This explains architectural perspective drawing is an essential point. A correct perspective drawing can instantly make you feel inside space on paper.
Architectural perspective drawing is one of the challenging courses that be taken in the first years of architectural education. Although the name of the lesson varies in universities, this lesson’s content is generally the same. Therefore, almost everyone who is interested in architectural design is familiar with the education and its subjects. But there is a big problem with architectural perspective drawing educations. Although it has been taught for years, it is still one of the most challenging subjects. Unfortunately, it is not an issue to be sidelined.
It is not difficult to understand that ultimate drawing skill is not required to become an architect, considering worldwide names. The first sketches of most of the buildings in literature consist of relatively simple drawings. So, this condition is just a myth.
Architectural perspective drawing courses include a whole of techniques. Participants are given the necessary information step by step. If the learning process takes place through the proper channels, it is possible to see the results instantly. So you don’t have to be born with drawing skills. Like all other architectural drawing techniques, perspective is a system based on learning, not on talent.
The aim of the architectural perspective drawing course we give on BackStudio, is not to save the day. We don’t have the goal to give you enough information to pass in drawing classes and send you back in confusion. Here, we attach importance to building the information on a solid foundation.
For this reason, our architectural perspective drawing course has different levels like our other courses. All levels are designed for those who are familiar with perspective drawing techniques at different levels. We determine your level with a small test before the course. Then, we start our education with a particular lesson program for you.
Our aim is not to overwhelm you on BackStudio. Drawing architectural perspective is difficult enough, and we do not want you to be alienated from lessons because of the unsuitable lesson hours for you. That’s why, you decide on the course schedule and the course hours here.
You are in one-on-one communication with your tutor throughout all of the lessons. So you can ask any point that is unclear in your mind. You make learning process permanent by getting an instant response and putting what you’ve learned into practice.
Architectural perspective drawing courses will help you understand one of the most fundamental aspects of design; to think in three dimensions. If you cannot think in three dimensions, it won’t be easy to realize the projects that come to your mind, and you can’t imagine how they would look like in reality.
The architectural perspective drawing course is an excellent opportunity to open up your three-dimensional perception. In these courses, you will learn to see three dimensions and then show your designs to the opposite side in three dimensions. Thus, both design perception and presentation techniques will improve. Whether you are at your university or in your office, you will be able to have much better control over every project you take on.
