How to draw column layout in Autocad?
A Column layout plan specifies the size and position of columns. It is an essential component of a Structure because without it, it is impossible to determine where a structure is actually located.

7 Steps to Create Column Layout
1. Column Shape Choice
Depending on the structure, choose the column shape such as circular, rectangular, box-type columns.
2. Draw The Column.
Use the Rectangle Command (Rec+Enter) or Circle Command (C+Enter) to draw the column.
3. Fixed The Column Location.
Placed all the columns in the right place to give a structure a beautiful appearance.
4. Set the grid line.
By using I+Enter or Construction Line (XL+Enter) Command, draw the grid line horizontally or vertically because all parts of structures are based on the grid line.
5. Numbering The Grid Line
Serially numbering the grid lines a,b,c… or 1,2,3… to locate something easily.
6. Set The Dimension With Respect To The Grid Line
In order to locate a column position, set a dimension of all columns using the DIM LEANER (DIML+ENTER) Command.
7. Numbering the column. To find a column for seeing the schedule, number the columns based on the size and reinforcement.
