UI / UX Design Programs

UI / UX design are concepts that are now a part of our lives. Although we are not aware of it, we interact with a web designer’s products every day. There is a design team behind all the social media applications we use, online and offline programs, or the websites we visit, without exception.

UI / UX design has come to such a point that it started to be one of today’s most important professions and the future. If you are also interested in graphic design, web design, or data analysis, perhaps the job of your dreams is right in front of you. However, it is useful to learn which programs you need to master before starting this business. Here are the most commonly used UI / UX design programs.

Sketch

A sketch is software that UI designers often prefer to prototyping because it can work in harmony with prototype tools such as Framer or Origami. Vector-based Sketch gives the designer great freedom in editing components and styles.

Unfortunately, Sketch is not very suitable for large teams. It also only supports the MacOS operating system. That makes it impossible for Windows or Linux users to use Sketch.

Finally, you need to pay a $ 99 fee to access the program. Then, to continue receiving updates, the user must renew their subscription by paying $ 79 each year.

Adobe XD

One of the most prominent software in UI / UX design programs is Adobe XD. Adobe XD is free for designers who want to use the software alone. It also provides the designer with advanced tools for design and prototype. Moreover, the program is efficient for those who have worked with any of Adobe programs before.

The most significant advantage of Adobe XD is, of course, that it is straightforward to share files with other Adobe software. Unfortunately, Adobe XD is also among the UI / UX design programs that are not very satisfactory for simultaneous collaboration.

Figma

Figma, which has taken the throne of all UI / UX design programs in recent years, is currently the most advanced software in operating system support. Figma; It supports all Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems because it works directly in the browser.

The fact that it works on the browser is both the most significant advantage and the disadvantage of Figma. This system provides excellent convenience to the designer in terms of recording tools. Since one can save the design changes automatically saved to their cloud, there is no need to open separate files each time. However, it is not possible to use Figma without internet access.

Finally, Figma is the most successful UI / UX design program to work on the file simultaneously. Moreover, it has up to two editors per project free to use for personal users.
